Volleyball Coach (Edina campus)

Oversees: Volleyball Team

PURPOSE: Avail Academy, Edina Campus, is seeking a knowledgeable coach to lead a middle school volleyball team during the months of September and October.  

The goal of the Avail Academy athletic program is for student-athletes to learn the skills, rules, and strategies of various sports through teamwork and sportsmanship, while bringing honor to God (Colossians 3:17).

Avail Academy participates in the SSYO (Southside Youth Organization) along with several other private schools in the southwest metro area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Leading volleyball practices after school hours one day per week.
  • Coaching the team in games on one or two evenings per week.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Corporate

  • Has a maturing relationship with Christ and His church.
  • Desires to disciple others.

  • Ability to abide by the policies, procedures, and practices of Avail Academy. 
  • Can subscribe without mental reservation to the Statement of Faith of Avail Academy. 
  • A passion for Christian education. 
  • Effective communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal. 
  • Derives satisfaction from serving as a team player in a collaborative environment.
